Formats and limitations
Accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP and keeps the source format where supported. PNG and WebP retain transparency when the browser supports the format.
Images are only scaled down and are not enlarged. JPG does not support transparency. Reencoding can change file size and visual quality. Very large dimensions can exceed browser or device memory.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make a 1200 pixel image smaller?
Yes. Upload the image, keep the aspect ratio locked, and enter a smaller width such as 600 pixels. A 1200 by 800 image becomes 600 by 400 pixels.
Does resizing preserve transparency?
PNG output preserves transparency. WebP output preserves transparency when supported by the browser. JPG does not support transparency.
Will resizing add a watermark or upload my image?
No. The downloaded image has no watermark. Processing stays in your browser, and no account is required.
