Terms of Service

The service consists of: the free browser tools on toolpdfs.com, which process files locally on your device; ToolPDFs Pro, a paid tier purchased through Dodo Payments; and Invoice Generator: PDF Bills, an iOS app distributed through the Apple App Store with optional in-app purchases billed by Apple.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own lawful purposes. This licence does not permit reselling the service, scraping it at scale, or offering it as your own.

Every document you process with or generate through the service remains entirely your property. ToolPDFs claims no rights of any kind over your files or their contents. Because the browser tools process files on your own device, we never receive, see, or store them. Nothing in these terms grants us any licence to your documents.

You agree not to use the service to infringe others' rights, to create fraudulent or deceptive documents, to attempt to breach or overload the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what law permits, or for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for the content and accuracy of documents you create.

ToolPDFs Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record. Dodo is the legal seller and your counterparty on the purchase, appears on your card statement, and handles tax calculation and remittance, invoicing, chargebacks, and refund processing. ToolPDFs is the product creator and is responsible for the product itself and for support.

Monthly and Annual plans renew automaticallyat the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time via the management link in your Dodo receipt email or by writing to hello@divvsaxena.com; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Lifetime is a one-time payment with no renewal. We give at least 30 days' notice before any price change, and changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Purchases inside the iOS app are billed by Apple under Apple's terms, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are cancelled in iOS Settings under your Apple ID, not through us or Dodo. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled exclusively by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The service itself, including its name, design, code, and content (but never your documents), is owned by Divv Saxena and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without written permission.

The service is a set of productivity tools, not a substitute for accounting, legal, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for all claims is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (zero if you used only the free tools).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolPDFs and its owner from claims arising from your use of the service, the documents you create, or your breach of these terms.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Paid access that is terminated without cause is refunded pro rata for the unused period.

For in-app purchase disputes, use Apple's process first. For web purchase disputes, contact us and Dodo Payments first; most billing issues are resolved within days. For anything else, contact hello@divvsaxena.com and we will attempt informal resolution for 30 days, after which disputes are resolved by binding individual arbitration; you and we each waive participation in class actions. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes and material updates are announced on the changelog. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: hello@divvsaxena.com.
