Privacy Policy

Every tool on ToolPDFs processes files using JavaScript running in your own browser tab. When you merge, compress, convert, split, or otherwise process a file, the file is read into your browser's memory, transformed there, and offered back to you as a download. No file is ever transmitted to our servers or to any third party. There is no upload step, no processing queue, and no server-side copy.

Because files are never received by us, there is no file retention period: the moment you close the tab, the file exists only where it always was, on your device. This applies to every tool on the site without exception. If we ever introduce a tool that requires server-side processing, this policy and that tool's page will say so explicitly before you use it.

Analytics.We use Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and understand which tools are used. Google Analytics sets cookies, so it loads only after you choose "Allow" in the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all. Analytics never has access to the contents of your files. IP anonymisation is enabled.

Support email. If you email hello@divvsaxena.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to help you, and retain it for up to 24 months so we can follow up on past issues.

Purchase data. If you buy ToolPDFs Pro, checkout happens on Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record. Dodo provides us with your email address and subscription status so we can deliver Pro benefits. ToolPDFs never receives or stores your card details.

Local preferences.Your cookie consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your device and is not transmitted to us.

We do not collect the contents of your files, account profiles (there are no accounts), advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking data, or precise location. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not use dark patterns to extract consent.

Invoice Generator: PDF Bills stores all invoices, clients, and business details locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. Nothing you enter in the app is uploaded to any server. This is intentional, not an oversight. The app uses no analytics and no trackers. It may request access to your photo library solely so you can pick a business logo; photos stay on your device.

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat solely to verify subscription status on the device; it receives no personally identifiable information from us. This section is consistent with the app's App Store privacy label.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: analytics runs on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by clearing site data for toolpdfs.com; support correspondence and Pro delivery are processing necessary for a contract or steps you request (Art. 6(1)(b)); and fraud prevention and security rest on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you are in the EU or UK you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a portable copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To exercise any right, email hello@divvsaxena.com. We respond within 30 days. Note that for most visitors we hold no personal data at all, because the tools do not require any.

These providers process limited data on our behalf:

• Dodo Payments — Merchant of Record for web purchases: payment, tax, invoicing, refunds.
• Vercel — website hosting; standard server request logs.
• Google Analytics — consent-gated usage statistics.
• Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchase billing for the iOS app.

Some providers are located outside the EU/UK. Where they are, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Files: never received, so never retained. Support email: up to 24 months. Purchase records: as long as required for tax and accounting law, held primarily by Dodo as Merchant of Record. Analytics: Google Analytics retention is set to 14 months.

ToolPDFs and the iOS app are not directed at children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to use them. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
